Here are just some of the great reasons you should be a BDTA member:

Our Membership Year is September 1st to August 31st

• We will share posts on Facebook from member businesses as we receive them.  If you have a special event coming up, let us know in advance and we can work with that.

• Notification about key issues that involve our community as well as may provide new ideas and best practices that may affect your industry.

• 20% off ice and all Buckhorn Swag sold only at the Welcome Centre. Please place an advanced order for large quantities

• The phone at the Welcome Centre never stops ringing and 4,000 plus visitors walked through the door in 2023 asking for referrals to local businesses, whether it be a place to stay, a good spot to eat, a wine tour, a reliable plumber, a handyman, a place to buy firewood or lumber…

• Members are on our referral list and they can display business cards, rack cards and brochures at the Welcome Centre.

• Your business name and information is added to our Tri-fold brochure which is mailed out to the Buckhorn District once a year as well as placed in every bag that leaves the Welcome Centre.  This is for membership before October 31st of the current membership year.

• BDTA publishes a newsletter containing important information and upcoming events as material becomes available.

• Your business name will be added to the “Explore Buckhorn & Area” magazine if you are a member by March 1st of the current membership year.

• All BDTA members have the opportunity to be linked up with “Peterborough & The Kawarthas Economic Development”
